Emory Neurosurgery to Host Cranial Base Surgery Course

    Emory University Department of Neurosurgery will once again be hosting the Cranial Base Surgery Course: A 360 Degree Perspective Hands-On Workshop, March 12-14 in Atlanta, GA. 

    This three-day course will be conducted by skull base ENT and neurosurgeons who will address the theoretical basis of traditional skull base microsurgical techniques, discuss advanced expanded endoscopic techniques, introduce the concept of robotic-assisted exoscopicvisualization and advanced neuro- imaging planning and navigation and review case and technique selection, as well as complication avoidance and management. Bioskills workshop sessions will be used to simulate procedures in a hands-on laboratory setting using preserved and injected cadaveric specimens.
