    Clinical Focus

    Co-Director and co-founder of a premier tertiary center neuroendocrine care for patients with pituitary tumors (Emory Neuroendocrine Pituitary Center) since June 2008. Responsibilities involve coordination of outpatient and inpatient diagnostic and therapeutic protocols for patients with pituitary disorders, supervision of mid-level practitioners and nurses in the neuroendocrine testing clinic, and collaboration with neurosurgery and radiation oncologists for integrated patient care.

    Research

    Current research is focused on pituitary tumors: therapeutic outcomes post-surgery, radiation and medical treatment, validation of prognostic markers, pituitary tumors pathogenesis and identification of novel therapies.  Previous research included outcome studies for adrenal tumors, metabolic risk factors in populations at high risk of cardiovascular disease and thyroid diseases.
