Dr. William J. Benedict graduated with a BS in Biology and a minor in Spanish from The University of Scranton in 1996 and received his MD from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in 2000. He began his post-graduate work with an Internship at Loyola University Medical Center where he completed his residency in Neurological Surgery in 2007. Dr. Benedict joins the Emory Department of Neurosurgery in July of 2007. He is a resident member of the American Medical Association, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
